Sunglint on the Alabama Waterway

.In this June 26, 2023, image derived from the International Spaceport station, sunlight polishes off the soft waters of the Alabama Waterway in a sensation known as sunglint. When photographing Planet, astronauts often make the most of sunglint's possibility to increase the comparison between water areas as well as surrounding property surfaces.In the 1960s, the Alabama River was hindered, making Dannelly Reservoir (the big polishing place at center left). Construction of the dam additionally raised water table upriver. This resulted in flooding at many points along the river.
